Hunt Integrative Solutions LLC (HIS Controls) is a controls and integration company based in Le Grand, California, founded in 2024. We help plants across the Central Valley, Northern Nevada, and Kansas keep equipment running and get better information out of their controls systems, from the PLC to the SCADA system and everywhere in between.
Meet Timothy Hunt, Owner / Automation Engineer
Timothy Hunt started in 2013 as an electro-mechanical technician and journeyman mechanic on high-speed glass production and packaging lines. He went on to work as an electrical engineer and maintenance department lead, then as an automation technician and controls lead in continuous process manufacturing. He holds an Associate of Science in Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology from Merced College, and he founded Hunt Integrative Solutions in 2024.
That floor-level background shapes how he works: code that's readable at 2 a.m., screens that make sense to operators, and documentation the next person can follow. His work includes migrating more than 10 legacy Allen-Bradley PLC-5 systems to ControlLogix, delivering an enterprise OEE SCADA application and Ignition 7.9-to-8.1 upgrade for a Central Valley food and beverage producer, and commissioning HMI/SCADA on Ignition, FactoryTalk Optix, and FactoryTalk View. He has done automation and controls engineering for 5 manufacturing clients, including multiple food and beverage producers.

We also serve plants across Kansas, including Wichita, Kansas City, Topeka, and Salina, plus remote support anywhere.
